Dew

A round pouf like a drop of water, where the lines of surface tension are transformed into a weave of strips of leather. As with some optical works from the 1950s, Nendo studies the perceptive processes underlying movement, translating them into an arrangement of lines and geometric shapes organized according to a precise mathematical approach. The optical effect, emphasized by the ratios of extension and the use of black and white, in its simplicity allows a multiple reading of the object, both structural and superficial.
